CLASSES AND EXPERIENCES

1. Intro to Flying Class (2hrs)- Our classes are very hands on using a multi-sensory approach to learning. We explore what makes an airplane fly, effects of weather, airport operations and more. The classroom portion is approximately 45 minutes long and then the class is taken outside to interact with a real airplane. Students will be able to touch the airplane and connect their classroom learning with the real thing!
2. Tower Tour (1hr)- We take you up into the control tower to meet the air traffic controllers and see what goes on behind the scenes. Your student will see the tower operations and have a chance to ask questions. The part of the tour inside the actual tower will be approximately 10-15 minutes due to safety regulations. 
3. Discovery Flight (1hr) - One of our flight instructors will do approximately 15 minutes of ground school and 45 minutes of flying with your student. We will take you up flying and explain the different maneuvers (steep turns, climbing, descending, and slow flight.) Your student can even take a turn flying if they are comfortable! Times will vary based on weather and safety concerns. 
4. Airport Tour/Fieldtrips (1hr): On your tour you will get to see the airport including the pilots lounge, tower, taxiway, runway and will also be able to interact with a real airplane!
5. Private Flying lessons - We offer private flying lessons for kids (ages 11 and up) and adults who are working toward their private pilot's license. 

       This will be a mix of both ground school and flying. We believe that using both ground school and flight time simultaneously, helps solidify learned concepts and skills.
