Modern composite airframes, fuel-efficient engines, and exceptional visibility from the bubble canopy. Diamond trainers are a favorite for building hours and advanced training.

Access Protocol
How Membership Works
Get Checked Out
A checkout must be performed by an authorized Legacy Aviation Flying Club designee. It is a combination of ground and flight to proficiency, usually less than 2 hours if you have the required time.
Fill Out Renter Form
Upon completing your checkout, you will receive access codes to the hangar and procedures for checking the plane in and out.
Schedule Online
You'll be given access to our online reservation system. Book aircraft on your schedule, day or night, member or non-member.
Pre-Pay Block Time
Block rates are available in pre-purchased blocks. Block payments are transferrable and good for 12 months from purchase date.
Insurance required. All renters must carry aircraft renter insurance with minimum coverage. Minimum flight time requirements apply per aircraft type. Ask us about specifics for the aircraft you want to fly.

Austin
Helicopter CFI / CFII
Austin completed his helicopter flight training in Utah and has been flying helicopters for over two years. He holds his rotorcraft, CFI and CFII certificate. Austin has 350 hours in the R44 and over 2000 total hours flying. He is passionate about aviation and excited to share his knowledge and experience with others.
Outside of aviation, Austin enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing and snowmobiling.
Required Before Booking
Pilot Rental Application
Before your first aircraft rental, download and complete the Legacy Aviation Academy agreement. Submit your signed document to be reviewed and accepted into the club.

Yes. All renters must carry aircraft renter insurance with minimum coverage. You may use any provider that meets our minimums — we can point you to one.
Non-members pay $25/month for scheduling access and can only book within 7 days. Members pay $50/month, get discounted rates, book beyond 7 days, reduced overnight minimums (2 hours vs. 4), and unlimited scheduling.
Pre-purchased flight hours at a discounted rate. Transferable between members, good for 12 months, usable on any aircraft. After 12 months, balance remains but reverts to standard rates.

Legacy is for students 18 and older. Ages 8 to 17 start through Kids in Aviation, then transition seamlessly with the same aircraft and instructors.
