How will my hours be used?
The instructor block hours are used anytime the student is with the instructor. This includes ground school, simulator time or flying.
The airplane rental block hours are only used when the student is flying the airplane and covers the cost of the airplane rental and fuel.
Example: If a flight student's lesson is 1.5 hours total and they fly for 1 hour during the lesson, the number of hours used would be 1.5 instructor hours and 1 airplane rental hour.
